Feedback Thoughts
I think receiving feedback is a critical step in any type of project or activity. To me getting feedback allows me to gauge where I am at, at that point in time. Then I can use the feedback to better what ever I’m working on. In my past experiences the best type of feedback is when I got suggestions on how to fix something, whether it was when I was working on my swing in softball or writing a paper for one of my college courses. Furthermore, I really enjoyed reading the articles 5 Tips For Taking Feedback Like a Champ by Megan Bruneau and Silence the Critical Voices in Your Head by Sabina Nawaz. In the “5 Tips” article I really liked tip 2 because it suggests that when you receive feedback you have the opportunity to even further better yourself or whatever your working on. Also a main point I took away from the article by Nawaz was to think positively when it comes to what you do. Even if you have negative feedback or are feeling self-doubt, just take a second and refocus your energy into moving forward and being productive.
