Famous Last Words: Review Week and OU Texas Weekend

We are just now finishing up week eight of this course. This week was a review week and allowed me to reflect on my progress in this class so far. There were no reading assignments or storytelling assignment this week. Instead we had blog posts were I could look back at my past work and see where I was excelling and what I needed to work on. For me I feel like my time management was what I needed to work on the most. With that being said I tried to complete almost every assignment for this week that way I would be getting closer to getting on track of having an A in the class. This week was also the week of the OU Texas game. A group of friends and I went down to Dallas on Friday for the weekend. We stayed at the Omni on Friday night and then for Saturday night, with one of my good friends who have an apartment in the heart of Uptown. I had pretty good seats for the game; I was on the forty-yard line row six. The game however was a little stressful. I was hoping we would have beat Texas by a lot more than we did, but at least we got the win. After the game my friends and I hung out at the fair for a while. We rode the Ferris wheel and of course got some fried Oreos and a funnel cake. Overall, I had a great weekend! Once we got back Sunday afternoon is back to getting all of my school stuff ready for the week. I think with my new schedule and my time management strategies I will be able to excel in the weeks to come. I might possibly even be able to finish this course early!
